HOLLY — Holly resident Tammy Flickenstaff announced this week that she is actively seeking part-time employment, provided it does not involve food, retail, customer service, driving, mornings, evenings or weekends.
“I’m really open to anything,” Flickenstaff said, explaining that she is generally available between 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on weekdays.
Restaurant work is out because she does not want to work around food. Retail and customer service are also off the table, while warehouse and delivery jobs remain difficult because she does not drive.
Flickenstaff said she would consider office work as long as it does not involve phones, customers or arriving before 10:30. Remote work is also possible, provided it does not involve sales, data entry, bookkeeping or previous computer experience.
She has continued checking local Facebook groups for employers willing to accommodate her schedule and remains frustrated by the lack of opportunities.
“I’ve been looking everywhere,” Flickenstaff said. “Nobody is hiring right now.”
